I share with you today some of lingo that is daily put to use in this crazy little world of mine. Just remember when it’s the Next Big Thingâ„¢ on the east coast that you heard it here first.

Uh-oooooooooooooooooooooh!
An apartment and Sealab 2021 favorite, we discovered this phrase at random after watching the “Vacation” episode. It’s hard to miss, given it takes up more than half the show; in fact, it has been dubbed the “Uh-oh” episode by some. In any case, when anything momentous or noteworthy takes places (we define noteworthy rather broadly), this phrase is sure to follow. Try it some time; Chopper Dave will thank you. And don’t forget the hooker.

Hey-ooooooooooooooooooooh!
Has a similar usage to the exclamation above, but harkens back to the ever-lovable Ed McMahon. This can also mark occasions more characterized by surprise or unexpectedness. From interrupted sexual encounters to random moonings, this one covers it all.

Sweet balls of justice!
Mmm, so sweet the justice is. Righteous retribution or vengeance need be accompanied by naught more than this little ditty. I’m not sure where the balls entered into things exactly, but they add such poetic flare that it simply would not be the same without them.

Booyeah!
I dare not inform you of the source of this one. I value your retinas even if mine are beyond saving.

F yo’ couch!
I know, I know; Dave Chappelle as Rick James is perhaps the most hackneyed quote fodder in existence. But we can’t help ourselves. You know there are times when someone’s couch simply needs to be F’d.
