Temptation
This is what’s sitting on my desk here at work. Yet, I cannot decide to eat one, the other, or nothing at all. Will the king-size Snickers bar really satisfy? Are the Kit-Kat bar’s wafers really crisp and its chocolate, in fact, creamier? Or would my keychain’s lanyard be the better fare, something to idly nibble while gazing out into the recesses of an unseen space wrought of fantasy and daydream?
Decisions. They never grow easier.
